Born in Illinois, raised in New Jersey and schooled in the South. Graduated with a degree in Journalism. Started to document and fell for the form. Moved out West. Came back East. Lived in New York a long while, studying a craft and began a career. Now at home in Chicago.
Have made editorial and covers for such magazines as Blackbook, Nylon, And Men, Women's Wear Daily, Venus, NME, Fused, Space Between, Chicago Magazine, Noi.se and Naked Eye photographing fashion and personalities.

Recognition includes American Photo's "Fashion Pages of the Year," (2008)Communication Arts Photo Annual selection (2005), first place for Beauty in the Parisian Px3 competition (2009), and honorable mention in architecture for London-based Spyder Black and White awards (2010).
Currently also teaches Lighting Theory courses at Harrington College of Design.
